How to Sync Construction Estimates to Procore in Under 60 Seconds

A step-by-step walkthrough for general contractors who want to push budget line items from their estimates directly into Procore's budget module — without retyping a single number.

Every GC knows the frustration: you spend hours building a detailed estimate with WBS codes, cost types, quantities, and unit costs. Then you have to manually re-enter every single line item into Procore's budget module. For a project with 50+ line items, that's 2–5 hours of tedious, error-prone data entry.

ProBidCore eliminates this entirely. Here's how the workflow works:

First, create a project in ProBidCore and enter your budget line items — or import them from a CSV file. Each line item includes the description, WBS code, cost type, unit of measure, quantity, and unit cost. ProBidCore calculates totals automatically.

Next, connect your Procore account using OAuth 2.0. This is a one-time setup that takes about 30 seconds. ProBidCore uses the same authorization standard that Procore requires of all marketplace apps.

Finally, click 'Push to Procore' on any project. ProBidCore sends every line item to Procore's REST API using the manual calculation strategy, which means your pre-calculated totals are preserved exactly as you entered them. The entire sync takes less than 30 seconds, even for large estimates.

Every sync attempt is logged with a timestamp, status, and item count, giving you a complete audit trail. If Procore's budget is locked, ProBidCore detects this before attempting the sync and alerts you.
